A hole BIG enough for the sky

These buildings don't line up! The building with the "hole" is actually two towers (one obscured by the building in front of it) joined top and bottom, but the design makes it striking. Two buildings in front of it form the perfect window for a patch of sky. Mirrored glass was big for a while, but not so much any more. That's the Ala Wai Canal to the right and the road leads into the ewa entrance to Waikiki, other landmarks obscured. Taken from the eighth floor of a condo a few streets away (to give you an idea of scale).
