Cattle fed then a quick trip to collect some spares for my round baler. Back home, spares fitted then just in for lunch when a lorry arrived unannounced with a ton of magnesium lick tubs for the cows. So had to go and empty him then a quick bite and off to bale up some grass. Did the end riggs of the field. The plan is to make the rest into hay. Left wee brother wrapping the bales while I went to scatter said hay. Was just finished about 4.30 pm when it started to rain, pissistantly again. Bugger.
Headed off down the road in disgust to feed all the heifers. I know we need rain, but it could have had the decency to either rain before I spent an hour turning the hay,or not at all .
The sand quarry are busy moving their feed hopper further up the site to the latest phase that they have taken from us.
This made me laugh,if you have to stay away, how did they manage to paint "stay away" on the hopper ?
