Self burying child

A very British day at the beach, digging big holes in the sand in the drizzle. Dad and I wandered off to do some engineering and when we came back Matthew had turned himself into a sandcastle :)

We had a good paddle as well, and it turned out to have been a good thing we brought his swim shorts with us so he had something dry to change into :)

We really have had a wonderful week away, and seeing Steph, Oliver and Isobel this evening was the icing on the cake - if all too brief. I've totally not got enough photos of us all together though. Need to do better!
