All Change

Eden is a beautifully placid baby so far, through all the nappy and clothes changes she has to endure. She also seems to be responding when you chat to her, and tries hard to say something back.

Which is a good job, as today has been tough for Julia, who got a bad case of mastitis in the night. We've been trying all the home remedies, it improves and then gets worse again... hoping she doesn't need antibiotics...

Gratefuls:
- their lovely Syrian neighbour, who came round with homemade goodies as soon as she realised the baby had been born
- getting two washes dry in the sunshine
- Sutton family being understanding about us changing our plans
