Lonesome Tree

Went for a walk in King's Forest to take some photos to use for an orienteering event there in November. This tree - left standing when its neighbours who helped determine its height & shape were clear felled - caught my eye. It's not orienteering publicity material, but I thought I'd include it for my Blip. Part of the walk was on a well-used track outside the forest & just before we re-entered the forest we passed a field of miscellaneous seed plants, including sunflowers. Unfortunately most of them had their backs to me, but I managed to capture the one in the extra.
