Happy International Dog Day

A productive 'cleaning the car' and 'making tomato soup' morning turned into a slow afternoon.  I've been listening to 'The Last Days of Rabbit Hayes' by Anna McPartlin and I'm at a sad part which has made me very reflective.  It's a great listen though.  I'll have more strength for it tomorrow perhaps.

Stop Press - extra - made my day!  Horse tied to a lamppost outside my house. x (The travellers stopped to get water as where they are staying the night doesn't have any)....

Martin is making me a gin and tonic which is a good start to the long weekend.
