Damp Dahlia

The gardeners in Pollok Park admitted that they were late planting out the dahlia plants but they have started growing quite vigorously and quite a number are now in flower.

This orange flower makes me think of a sun burst and on a very damp, dull day it was a welcome splash of colour.
