A Circle Around the Sun.

We had a great time here today - Paestum - which has amazingly preserved Greek temples and other ruins.

Then, on our way home, we learned from DaveH that Judith ( Liz & D's sister) had died.

Such a tragic and cruel loss for her husband Peter and their daughters Helen & Sarah.

We were in the middle of Salerno when we got the message, and just held each other and cried for poor wee Jude.

Thoughts of rushing home, but what for - there was nothing to be done.

Our holiday was something Judith wanted us to enjoy, but we didn't feel right being away.
So, changed from the Wednesday flight to the Sunday.

I hope my Mum is looking after Judith - she must have been so frightened.
