A Working Distillery

Glenkinchie distillery, not far from Edinburgh, is one of Scotland's three lowland distilleries. It's now verging on 200 years old, having been established in 1825, during the industrial revolution. Those origins are reflected in its no nonsense architecture, including its two stills which are the largest in Scotland. Despite its venerable age it is working harder than ever, operating 24/7, producing whisky pretty much continuously.
