Orchid and Bird

A bit of an emergency blip after an odd day. It started with Pebbz showing signs of discomfort again mid morning. So worrying that she would run and hide again we put her into lockdown again.

Then I had a pm appointment with a NHS dermatologist to test for sun damage "nasties" on the side of my face. There wasnt anything too nasty when she examined me so she sprayed the area with a freezing liquid which will destroy the blemish in the coming weeks. She gave me good advice. I dont sun bathe but having very fair skin and being beyond my early years, I need to take more care. An impressive consultation arranged for me by my own NHS doctor. And I can access this specialist directly for 6 months without going back to my own doc. Well done NHS!

Finally I had a on line call with our friend Julie who keeps an eye on our little house in Spain. We havent been there for over three years. We hope to visit in October. We are having the external paintwork done before we go. We have done it ourselves in the past but really dont want to take that on again. Painting starts next Monday!

So a really varied day! Pebbz is certainly not as ill as she was before but we are keeping her in tonight.
