Bang!

It was F's eldest daughter's big birthday and we went to Herefordshire to visit and go to the family meal.  We stopped in Ludlow for a walk around the town as we always do when we're in the area.

F's dad was a very good at smallbore rifle target shooting.  He was so good that not only was he in his local club but also represnted the national team.  F says that he was Olympic standard but of course in those days there was not the money to follow the dream.

F inherited his rifle and has lovingly restored it, he used to do some shooting too. His daughter and family have taken up target shooting and have set up a range in the garden.  He presented her with her grandad's rifle for her birthday and she's having a go with it followed by the rest of the family. I stuck to shooting with the camera!

They have lotsof badges and medals that he won including the extra which is one from the national team.

Afterwards we went to a local pub for a meal with all the family, she had celebrated with her friends on the actual day.
