Visit to The Burrell

Lovely visit to The Burrell today with my sister, she hadn't been for a very long time and declared it was her favourite museum of all, high praise indeed! There is a wonderful relaxed and inclusive atmosphere in the building, young families, elderly people, all sorts. There are so many exhibits to see and admire. My blip is a snippit of a wonderful linen and silk embroidered panel, made in England between 1630-70. I love the lion's 'grin'!
