Rain At Last!

I woke at about 6am and thought somebody was putting the wheely bins out but it was actually the rumble of thunder. We had a terrific storm and lots of rain which has lasted for most of the day.
I took advantage of the children being away by mucking out their rooms. Poor Alfie is camping in Suffolk but I don’t think they have had as much rain as us. Poppy is dining out in style in Sorrento tonight (see extra). She’s back tomorrow, hooray!
