Book Festival

We went to listen to Professor Antony Beever being interviewed by Allan Little about his new book "Russia: Revolution and Civil War, 1917 - 1921.  The event was in Central Hall, an outpost of the Book Festival's main venue of the Art College.  Although it's a good venue, it didn't have the atmosphere of the Book Festival.  The discussion was so interesting and of course, prescient given current events. I look forward to reading the book.  

Afterwards we headed to the Pleasance where there was plenty of atmosphere!  Matt Forde was terrific, very funny and spot on with his satire.
