Pears

We planted our conference pear tree in the autumn of 2019 and this year it is producing a sizeable crop. My previous experience has been that conference pears take a number of years to become established before they begin to crop well, so I am pleased at how quickly this one has settled in. Just waiting to taste them now.
A trip to the dentist for a filling that did not happen, so it was just a teeth clean. Once the rain cleared I was able to get into the garden this afternoon and clear a vegetable bed of broad beans and rocket that had bolted and plant out some brassicas.
