Happy Snails and Slugs

We woke to rain this morning, which left me wondering how to entertain myself.  There's plenty to get on with around the house, but that's not the point.

I found a slug wandering across the conservatory floor first thing.  No idea how it found its way indoors.  Later I noticed this humbug snail heading towards the clematis, with "yum yum" written all over it.  Removed to the bird bath for a photograph and then dropped into the green bin, where there's plenty to munch.

JJ took the boys to the golf club for a lesson this morning, and fortunately they have an indoor practice area.  They also had lunch at the club before being taken home.  Simon's partner's son had his GCSE results this morning and has done well, which will be a relief all round.
