Unfurling

Did a bit of weeding in the back yard today and found this teeny little fern plant starting to grow/unfold.  it is in the wrong place so it had to be removed, but thought it was rather beautiful so snapped it first.
A memorable day - GCSE results and grand daughter did really well; we are all chuffed, so it is off to college for her in September.  
She started a new, part time,  job today so Terri and I wandered into town to enjoy a coffee in the cafe where she is waiting. It is sunny so a lovely day for a stroll, though it was quite humid.
