Lend me your ear

Had a most invigorating and enjoyable sunset walk on the east pier with L. 
But I made sure not to let on that it was either (invigorating or enjoyable). I played the usual role of the long suffering (and last reliable) friend. I pretended that I was bored to death. That now that my duty was done, I'd be off the hook for at least another 6 to 8 weeks.
