Misleading

A quick glance at the picture might lead one to conclusion that it had been a decent day at the south end of Shetland - and that beach walking had been the order of the day.

It wasn't like that.  There's been persistent mist and fog pretty much all day (I could hear the planes flying laps over the airport at one point) and the rain did almost stop once.  

I was glad to get my beach walk (on Quendale Beach) in early before the worst of the rain.
