Kind Neighbours

I have a lovely neighbour who has taken me under her wing during these challenging days. Today we went together into Northampton headed for the Registry Office. The registration of death and accompanying legal hurdles are gruelling and you have to wonder why the systems that are triggered into action by a death have to be so harsh and demanding.

But, with my friend Ann's support, that task is done and ticked off my long list. We could then relax a little and went for a hot drink before walking through the market.

Tomorrow's challenge is a meeting with the solicitor to put into action the power of probate application. Then, to tackle the DVLA about the car.
