Or a Meringue?

Cumbrian Joke:-
Two old Farmers in Cafe; the waitress asks one:- 
"Was yours a Cream-cake or a Meringue?"
To which he replies:-
"Nay lass, yer nut rang, it waz a Cream-cake."

This "dear reader" is why you may, from time to time, see/have seen 
"or a Meringue?" after a statement/question of mine - ANYWHERE...

It appears I "waz rang" about this Crocosmia (Still un-named) when I said, the other day that it only seemed to flower one at a time.
