Something fishy...

We survived the night...just. I hardly slept a wink in my scabby room and was up, ready and packed before breakfast even started.

Checked out, we tried to be more at one with Blackpool and thought we should try the Tower. It was shut. I'm sure that's like their biggest attraction. Oh well. The sea life centre it was, and actually, it was pretty good.

Once we were done there the rain set in again and we decided it was a cue to leave. Lunch in Preston, then the train home where a cup of tea was waiting for me. I think I need an early night.

Clare, thanks for a fab weekend. I certainly won't forget it. And to anyone who is thinking 'whats all the fuss about, its not that bad'...you weren't there! Although you may well have been and to be fair, on a sunny day its probably seen in a different light and is transformed into a place filled with happy smiley people, in which case, go forth and have fun. For me, I don't think I'll be back for a while.
