Dryad

Dryad Nursery is run by a friend who breeds miniature daffodils. This is one of hers, Narcissus bulbocodium ssp tenuifolius x triandrus, a big name for a little daffodil! Only around three inches high, it is a cross between one of the hoop petticoats and the diminutive but distinctive Narcissus triandrus which is also in flower here today. These two will be the last narcissus to flower here this spring (unless the Poets narcissus surprises me with a very late effort!)
