At last!

Today I visited Hackness Martello Tower & Battery. I've wanted to visit here for years and never had the opportunity. It's wonderful, well worth the wait!

Mike the warden gave us a private tour of the place, since there was no-one else about, and we learned loads - about the tower, the battery, Scapa Flow and loads of other things. Thank you Mike it was a real treat!
