Bloor West Village

J is boarding his plane to Spain (via Frankfurt) any minute now. I've moved to stay at my mother's place in the Bloor West Village neighbourhood of Toronto for the next few weeks. It was a busy day of getting J packed and ready to go again. We fit in a nice lunch at a Mexican place and headed to the airport.

I went on a blipwalk this evening and landed on this shot of the former Runnymede Theatre, a vaudeville and movie theatre from 1927-1999 when it closed and was converted to a retail space. It was initially a Chapters bookstore and is now a very swish Shoppers Drug Mart.
