Another incredible bounty

I knew there were some red plums on the tree in our old orchard ripe, yesterday we picked two of these soup plates full of plums. Then, today, I made a plum cake with the contents of one of the plates.
Then Don went out again and picked three more plates full.

A lovely start of the day: my oldest grandchild gave me a phone call to tell me that she is now officially in preschool.
That event got properly celebrated and she was so proud.
