the final unfurling

I love the way zinnias open up. First the outer layer of petals unfurl one by one, leaving the middle of the flower looking as if it has white stripes (which are the still furled petals). Then the middle starts to pop its own little yellow "flowers" that are really the anthers that hold the pollen.
It is a well choreographed opening.
