Ladies who lunch

Today we went to Val's for a 'Mad Hatters tea party' with our friend, Karen. Val has a lovely enclosed garden so I got to play outside for most of the time and there were lots of nice smells and exciting places to explore. I even found three balls that belonged to her grandson. Yay!


After the humans had eaten sandwiches and cupcakes they came into the garden to sit in the sunshine. It was really warm. In fact when we got back into the car the temperature was 24C which was a bit of a change from first thing this morning because it felt quite cold when I went on my morning walk.


On the way home we stopped off at Blackford Hill so that I could have a good run about. I did loads of rolling around on my back. Ann was worried that I was rolling in stinky stuff like fox or badger poo, but I wasn't; I was just rolling around because I was so happy.


And now it's gone cold again. Ann has put on a cardi because she certainly isn't going to put her heating on in August??!!
