Colourful Windfalls.

Plums and manky apples made a colourful spread under this tree.  It was quite early for my walk  but look how long the shadows are - two months on from the longest day....aargh.
It was "cat central" at the site today - Ginny made herself jump and let out a  pained yelp when she surprised one as she rounded a corner - cat slunk off leaving Ginny trying to "cool it out"  and regain composure.  Then later she spotted this one - in Extra - and let it know she wasn't scared at all ...oh no.  Thank goodness I had a firm grasp on the extending lead.  Cat was cool as you can see.  Then found another one sprawling on the tracks ahead....ambled off with Ginny champing at the bit again to get at it.
