COOKING APPLES.

We went to Xmas Common today for a change. Dexter had a great time running round sniffing every tree and leaf that he could find. This afternoon our neighbours gave us two more bags of fallen cooking apples. So I’ve been preparing them for the freezer. Making apple crumbles and apple pie’s to freeze. I don’t want to see another cooking apple for a long time now. In the mean time it’s trying to rain. But we need lots more if it’s going to make a difference to the gardens.
