Friends in Istanbul

Sarah and I took the 15.30 ferry from Arnavutkoy to Besiktas where we had a couple of hours at Joker 19 with draught beers and sth to eat. From there we took a taxi back to Bizim Tepe where we joined Jeffrey, Esra and Sinan, all arrived from New York a few days ago, so good to see them again back at Robert College, after a gap of 8 years. Sean was at BT too, and before long, Alex joined us, literally just off the plane from Boston. A lovely evening of laughter till late as we sat in the Bizim Tepe garden by the pool  looking back and catching up on the last few years since Jeffrey left, until we all walked to our homes on campus which caused amusement as well as Jeffrey and Esra now live in my old apartment and I walked with Alex as I have been staying at his place.
