Monday: Rhubarb

Frank n’ Bev stopped by this morning before heading back to Altrincham.  It’s been great to see them and we were particularly touched that they drove up here so that we could get together.

K and I needed to go into Newcastle to take care of a few things but postponed that.  K is still full of cold and I was just feeling quite weary after our very social weekend.  We both felt we needed a slow day and we definitely feel much better for it.  I also didn’t have too much to do in the way of work.  I even managed to read a fair bit this afternoon.

My aunty cooked up a storm tonight - full roast dinner with pork.  She also has rhubarb in abundance and sent Bev off with an armful.  I’m hoping for a crumble at some point.
