Tidepool

Messing about on the rocks with filters, a woman approached me to ask if I knew anywhere offering photography classes. I must have looked like I knew what I was doing. I said I wasn't from around here and didn't know of any. Strangely, she then asked if I did weddings!

I feel I cropped in too tightly on the rock pool, the corners could use some breathing room and the image seems split in two halves. But I like the concept and perhaps I'll have the opportunity to try again. I used a 10-stop to smooth out the sea in this version which produced a white border around the rocks. I also used a polariser to reduce some of the glare in the rock pool.
