Recycling at the tip

We were very kindly given several items of furniture to use in this house. Each one came in its own cardboard box, and we filled a small room with the jumble of hastily opened boxes and ripped plastic wrappings.

It took quite an effort to squeeze them all into the car, in the pouring rain. And then they had to be further folded to fit through a flap in the skip at the municipal tip.

My mum and dad are visiting tomorrow, which is why I pushed on with the tidying!


Tomorrow, I will be licensed to lead two churches as their Priest in Charge. The expectations are sky high, which is more than a little daunting!
