Update. Last Friday I blipped what I thought was a damselfly, I have since learnt that it was in fact a Common Darter Dragonfly which are very common and easy to photograph as they perch in the open and return regularly to the same spot.

Today I took one photo, of an unusual looking vehicle used for image collection.

The weather is more seasonal, warm (22C) and humid, with a prolonged spell of light rain.
