SPEEDY GONZALES

Speedy trains today . . . on the way to York . . . and moving very smoothly. Sad Boro news . . . not the fact that we are yet to win . . .  but the death of David Armstrong age 67 . . . played from 1972 to 1981. He was a wonder winger and played latterly for Southampton and Bournemouth. Still holds the record for the number of consecutive appearances for the Boro  . . . 358. I used to help his Grandparents when they travelled away with Boro . . . a grand family.
