Bee-utiful

It was a beautiful afternoon for a wander up the road ...... not too hot with a nice breeze. There was a fair amount of cloud but you can't have everything!

We were treated to a lovely aerial display from the dragonflies whizzing back & forth across the road between the trees :-)

A real treat but I wish they would land so we could have a proper look at them .... they are so quick!

There were several Common Blue butterflies flitting around the Birds-Foot-Trefoil .... lots of bees too :-)

Loved the russet colour of this bee ..... thought it contrasted well with the yellow .... hope you like it too :-)
