Looks like the Himalayas

… but it is the Grand Combin with new snow on it after the heavy rainfall we had at lower altitudes. Swisspiper and I had only a half day today and walked up to the Col d’Arc. If you look into the bottom right of the photo you can see the Grand St. Bernard Hospice which has provided refuge for travelers for centuries and is a place of worship. There has been a church there since 1125!

 A fabulous walk looking back at Mont Mort (on the right of the extra) that we climbed yesterday. Thanks for the appreciation of the young male bouquetin with his great backdrop too!
