Waverley trip from Largs to Glasgow

This was the paddle steamer approaching Largs pier at dusk. How lucky we were to enjoy our jaunt - Lulabel's postponed birthday trip from Cat - on such a beautiful evening!

The whole trip was memorable, but one special moment was as we chugged past a couple of (grown-up) lads fishing on the shore in the dusk. The usual waves were exchanged, then one of the men suddenly shouted, "Oggy, oggy, oggy!" at the top of his voice. Everyone on board, in unison, reciprocated with the compulsory "Oi, oi, oi!" and burst out laughing! Unforgettable!
