A day with family

In the afternoon Annemarie recieved a message from her brother Johan, if we'd like to catch up. He and his family were in Appingedam and wanted to visit the beach in Delfzijl. 
We went there on our bikes and met them on the beach. It was low tide (ebb), so no swimming possible for their kids. We even had to endure a short rain shower as well. We had a drink together on the terrace of the Eemshotel. After a small 2 hours we all went our separate ways again. Johan and Noortje went back to Haarlem, where they live. And we went home.

In the evening we went to my sister, for a barbecue together nwith my family. Bas and Daan were already there. They'd been with Peter to Groningen, to see the football match Groningen vs Go Ahead Eagles. (1:0)
Of course my mother was also present.

So, quite a family day.
