Mesquite

Pods growing in a mesquite tree. I managed to get across the street to take the photo.

All the bandages and wraps came off today. And according to my post op instructions, "You MUST take a shower today."  I had no problem following that direction. I was finally able to pry the plastic cover off of the container last night so had some dinner. So far, I've had only a banana-blueberry smoothie. I'm thinking I should be able to drive to get some take out, probably at Chipolte. They have really great organic lemonade.

In other news...I got nothing. Oh, except a blip friend texted me a very funny meme.

EDIT: I just found out that the photo I had in the Tubac Center of the Arts members exhibit sold on opening night!  Whoo hoo!
