As we sat in Sue's back yard this morning, after two strong cups of tea, I observed with a weary chuckle, "I don't think caffeine is going to do it for us today."
We spent the day in a haze of pleasant exhaustion, giggling that we were enjoying a cheap, drug-free high (we do remember some drug-induced ones). Finally around 3, I opened the laptop to see what's happening in Blip World as she started fooling around with paint brushes and color. Sue has been reading a book by Rachel E. Gross entitled Vagina Obscura: An Anatomical Voyage (2022), lamenting that this research didn't come out when she was in her teens. I'm awaiting my turn to read it.
