Day Off - hurray!!!!
Today we had a day off, well almost. Mark had an interview on Radio Guernsey but after that was free.
So we sorted some paperwork including doing the English Tax return.
Then we went to Waitrose for coffee and cake before doing some shopping. B & Q followed for fresh compost for the veg beds and then Le Friquet for seeds to plant.
The afternoon was spent relaxing before the children came home.
Daddy picked up Jonathan and went to Forest Stores where they furnished us with large sheets of cardboard. Jonathan has offered to create a "Noah's Ark" for the pet service on Sunday and thinks cardboard and a wheelbarrow will work. No doubt mum's expert abilities will be called on to make the "creation".
Tea was lovely slow-roast lamb with crispy roast potatoes - lovely.
This evening, Mum's off to do a wedding visit.
Day off, well nearly!
