My new friend
After yesterday's exertions, Mum and I stayed quietly at home.
I made two lots of biscuits ready for friends coming to see us tomorrow. I also stewed plums ready to make a crumble.
This afternoon, Margret (next door) came over. She had been to Kirkharle with Jenny, Dennis and Kate. Jenny is still in a wheelchair and had loved being outside in the fresh air.
I had a short rest and enjoyed a bit more of Van Der Valk (I know when to watch an improbably detective story for relaxation).
This evening, I walked through the village. The cat in my blip was very friendly and waited for me when I returned later. You can see that the rowan berries are ripe. All around there are seed heads to enjoy.
Near the pub I found the extra. Sadly this was not a Reliant Robin but a VW Fox. Faint memories of of Del Boy and Only Fools and Horses.
