Drama in the Dustbin

I've been keeping my eye on this spiders egg for the past few days, n my brown lidded dustbin. It has been watched over by a lovely yellow spider. However, this morning I noticed that the spiderlings had hatched and that this brown spider had appeared. Later I noticed that the mother spider was dead and the brown spider had moved closer to the spiderlings. I fear that something untoward is going on...
