Easy Pickings.

All three of us found the Park Run heavy going this week, a mixture of the heat, missing last week and, in my case, too much midweek drinking with our visitor. 

However, despite the legs feeling like jelly, we all got round and Tess & I still had the energy to make a start on apple picking this afternoon.

The blip shows our bounty, gleaned from the lower branches of the tree. Thought we’d save the upper reaches for when we haven’t done a Park Run.

While we were picking, Yeovil were conceding a very late equaliser away at Altrincham in a game we looked like winning. By the sounds of it a draw was a fair result but it’s frustrating that we can’t hang on to a lead. Could do with our first win of the season. Maybe next Saturday!
