Highworth History Walk.

Our village history club had an away day today! We went to the small market town of Highworth, just outside Swindon.

We had a guided tour of the town by a chap from Visit Highworth. It was absolutely fascinating looking at the old buildings- many of them had previously been pubs!

The pharmacy in the picture has been a pharmacy for over 200 years- astonishing…

There are a couple of ghost signs too!
