Escape to the country...

Yesterday I headed only 7 miles down the road to meet up with 5 lovely ladies who assist me with running the local Rainbow and Brownie unit. We do this on a Thursday evening, after we've all been to work for the day, the sessions run back to back for 2 hours and some weeks it's hard going. But we do it for the love and for seeing the girls having fun and developing skills and friendships, that makes it all worthwhile. I'm the oldest member of the group now with the youngest member being just 17, but age doesn't matter when you all have a common goal. This weekend we stayed overnight at the cottage where we take the Brownies on Pack Holiday, we had a fabulous time and this is the view down the camping field. I've been coming here since I was 7 and it will always hold a very special place in my heart.
