Stubble tracks

An early and sunny start.  Off over the hill road for the weekly shop.  A couple of cars in Craigmead car park.  Early hill walkers.  It’s so lovely at that time of the morning and I’m still finding photos.  Arrived at Morrisons as they were opening. Wandered round a bit, buying some stuff on offer.  Bumped  into Andy who was earlier than usual and taking advantage of an ice cream offer.   Had to wait in the car for M&S to open.  Was so pleased to see they had greengages.  Nobody else seems to stock them and they are not around for long so I make the most of them while they are.  So sweet and juicy.  Came home and realised I had bought  too much stuff for the freezer which was already pretty full.  Just managed to squash everything in.  Settled down for coffee, croissant and crosswords.  The afternoon was spent chatting to Andy with more coffee and lemon cake. Wondering why Sunak and Truss had bothered to come to Scotland when they dislike it so much.  Mind you they didn’t get much of a welcome.
