Orkney Woodland

When our friends moved into their house 30 years ago they started planting trees. Now they have a wonderful woodland garden, full of birds and insects and interesting plants. It is a great place to explore, overgrown, with lots of little winding paths opening into sunlit glades.

This morning I went round for coffee and sat watching collared doves, green finches and gold finches feeding while Ollie tucked into specially bought tasty dog treats! We are very lucky with our neighbours!
